Open to all Merrimack, NH residents pursuing higher education
Founded in 1971, the Rotary Club of Merrimack has long supported scholarships as a community need. Rotary is an international organization of business and professional members.
The Scholarship Fund’s endowment provides long term stability and financial flexibility. It is one of two sources of annual funding. The other source is direct donations. Two special fund raisers, both car raffles, gave a major boost to the scholarship fund. Over the past few decades we have added to the fund through the generosity of our community and through prudent and timely investments. This has enabled us to increase our scholarship awards.
Through 2020, we have awarded students over $42,000 from these investment earnings. We also manage the selection process for additional scholarships from the Rotary Club and other organizations.
The Rotary Club Of Merrimack Scholarship Fund, Inc. is 100% volunteer-run. We have no paid staff. The board of directors includes both Rotarians and local citizens.
